Context

When searching for housing, listings are often scattered across multiple platforms: Leboncoin, SeLoger, estate agencies or social networks. Favorites are spread across different sites and it quickly becomes difficult to track interesting listings, compare properties or share finds with others.

ApartEasy is a web application designed to simplify this step by centralizing all real estate listings in a single workspace. The tool helps organize a housing search alone or in a group, for example as a couple or with roommates.

Each search takes place in a dedicated space called a space, containing a name and a reference location used to calculate distances and travel times.

Problem

When searching for an apartment, several difficulties quickly arise:

• listings are scattered across multiple sites
• interesting links are hard to find again
• comparing several properties efficiently is complicated
• coordination with others (roommate, partner, friends) becomes confusing.

Communication often happens via messages or screenshots, making it hard to track listings clearly and efficiently.

Solution

ApartEasy offers a simple interface to centralize all real estate listings in a single collaborative space.

Users can create a search, invite others to join and manually add listings found on different sites by simply pasting the URL and key details.

Each listing can then be enriched with information such as price, utilities, floor area, number of rooms or availability date.

An interactive map shows the property location and estimates travel times to the search reference location using the Google Maps API.
