Drivup is one of the driving school software solutions that display their pricing, which is already good news. However, the price per agency doesn’t tell the whole story: the digital learner’s logbook, SMS services, card payment setup, and training are all billed separately. I reviewed its pricing grid on October 11, 2026, as well as those of other driving school software providers that publish their rates. Here’s who Drivup is best suited for, what might make you hesitate, five alternatives with their prices, and when a custom-built tool could actually be cheaper.
What Drivup Costs in 2026
As of October 11, 2026, the Drivup pricing page lists two offers, excluding taxes, with a per-agency price that decreases based on the number of agencies. Drivup Go costs 45 € per month for one agency, 40 € per agency for two to four agencies, 34 € for five to nine, and 30 € from ten agencies onward. Drivup Connect costs 69 € per month for one agency, then 57 €, 45 €, and 40 € per agency, following the same tiered structure. The number of users is unlimited. A separate comparison page details what sets Go apart from Connect.
Four additional charges apply on top of the subscription: the digital learner’s logbook at 3.50 € HT per logbook, SMS at 0.094 € HT each, the card payment module setup at 300 € HT, and training, with no listed price. The page doesn’t specify contract terms, setup fees, or a free trial.
For example, an agency using Connect that enrolls 120 students per year—each with a logbook—and sends 300 SMS per month pays 828 € annually for the subscription, 420 € for logbooks, and roughly 338 € for SMS, totaling nearly 1,590 € HT per year, plus a 300 € one-time fee for the payment module in the first year. It’s this total cost—not the 69 € monthly fee—that should be compared.
Who Drivup Is Best For
Drivup covers online scheduling with student lesson bookings, a mobile app for students, 24/7 online payments with automated invoicing, electronic signatures, digital logbooks, and integrations with the ANTS system. The developer claims to have been refining it with driving schools for over a decade. Its fixed per-agency pricing, without enrollment tracking, and the tiered discounts starting from two agencies make it a logical choice for a network of multiple agencies looking for a student app and online payments. With five agencies on Go, you’d pay 170 € HT per month for the entire setup before adding optional features.
What Might Make You Hesitate
The Add-Ons You’ll Need to Account For The logbook, SMS, payment module, and training are all extra on top of the subscription. For a small driving school, these could add up to as much as the subscription itself. Crunch the numbers with your actual volumes.
What the Page Doesn’t Mention There’s no mention of contract terms, a free trial, or setup fees. Ask for these in writing before signing, along with the data export format for your records.
The Difference Between Go and Connect It’s not clearly outlined on the pricing page. If you’re unsure, request a detailed list of features for each plan, especially the one that includes online booking and the student app.
Five Alternatives to Drivup, With Their Prices
Prices listed on each provider’s website, excluding taxes, taken from my comparison of driving school software, and verified again on October 11 for Klaxo.
Zen Management costs 39 € per month with 3 users included: scheduling, students, fleet, accounting, student portal, ANTS connection, multiple agencies. The closest price to Drivup Go, with accounting included.
Kréno 2 costs 49 € per month up to 200 registrations per year, then 2.70 € per registration: scheduling, contracts, invoices, certified collections, state-linked logbook, student and instructor apps. The logbook is included, which changes the calculation compared to Drivup.
GestAuto-École costs 79 € per month, unlimited instructors and students, based on Odoo: scheduling, logbook, student portal, packages, multiple agencies.
Klaxo costs 99 to 249 € VAT-exclusive per month depending on your registrations, from 10 to 50 per month, then 9.90 € per additional registration, with all features included in each plan. I detailed its pricing and alternatives in a dedicated article about Klaxo.
Drivea is free, with a 10 € per month option to receive new students: scheduling, students, payments, progress, iOS and Android apps.
For a simple booking calendar, rdv360 has a free plan, then 29.90 to 59.90 € per month. Rapido, Elgéaweb, and AGX do not publish their pricing.
And if none fit: a custom tool
A network of agencies often has its own rules: in-house packages, instructors moving between agencies, hour tracking still managed by the secretary on Excel. I developed a custom driving school management software for such situations: scheduling, students and hours, with the client’s rules and nothing else. I also explain in another article what a driving school scheduling software should handle.
On pricing, an add-on connected alongside your subscription costs 2,500 to 7,000 € one-time. A complete custom software ranges from 5,000 to 15,000 € upfront with me, then 100 to 300 € per month for maintenance, hosting, and backups included, and you own the code. For a network of five agencies in Connect, three years of subscription total 8,100 € VAT-exclusive before logbooks and SMS: at this level, custom becomes a real option. My custom software pricing barometer provides price ranges from 14 French service providers for comparison.
If what you are missing first is lesson booking by the students, my article on the booking app for driving schools details what it has to handle.
How to choose in one day
Take the six-question test on my page about driving school software. Then put the software through a real day: a registration, a signed contract, a lesson booked by the student from their phone, an online payment, a booklet filled out by the instructor. Finally, calculate the cost over three years with your agencies, your booklets, and your real SMS messages.
